How to use this travel budget calculator

1. Enter the number of travellers and nights. Food is counted per day, so a 7-night trip counts 8 days.
2. Add your hotel price per night for the whole room, not per person.
3. Add return flights per person. Prices from Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver can differ a lot, so check your own departure city.
4. Tick all-inclusive if meals are part of your resort price.
5. Keep a 10% buffer for tips, resort fees, baggage fees and exchange rates.

Which currency should I use?

Any currency. Enter every amount in the same currency, for example Canadian dollars, and the totals will be in that currency.

How much buffer should I add?
